The result of Dalmore’s experiments with casks from around the world, this port wood reserve combines Dalmore’s viscous whisky with port cask fruit and spice influences. Initially aged in refill ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is then finished in port pipes from bodega W & J Graham. Creamy and fruity with controlled sweetness.
Nose: Sweet red berries, Seville oranges, plummy fruits and sticky toffee pudding
Palate: Nectarines, creamy caramel, roasted chestnuts and Java coffee
Finish: Rich plums, sultanas, Sanguinello blood oranges and macerated cherries
