This sherried single malt from Craigellachie was distilled in 2006 and left to age in a single sherry butt. After 12 years of rest, the whisky was bottled by Hunter Laing for the Old Malt Cask range.
Nose: Strawberry marshmallow, cinnamon and a touch of salinity.
Palate: Malt predominant at first transitioning into chocolate, nuts and dried fruits.
Finish: Christmas spices and warming on the lingering finish.
