Spiritfilled, bottlers of the ‘Mythical Beasts’ expressions, are an independent bottler and whisky cask broker located in Maidstone, Kent, England. Spiritfilled started as a cask investment company (something to be wary of) but Whisky Drop is focusing on their work as an independent bottler (starting in 2021) and highlighting expressions that are not seen every day. This expression is a single cask, PX finish, Ardmore (cask 800818) that was bottled without added colour or chill-filtration. Total worldwide outturn – 212 bottles.
Producer’s Notes:
Nose: Rich and creamy butterscotch with candied dried fruit and a light hint of fresh green apples.
Palate: A confident hit of orchard fruit, stewed apples and manuka honey with a hint of spices.
Finish: A long and elegant finish offering subtle citrus notes.
