Hirsch, who set out to create the gold standard of American Whiskey, The Bivouac uses a custom mash bill inspired by the legendary A.H. Hirsch 16-Year-old Reserve, a testament to his legacy and the HIRSCH brand’s pursuit of liquid excellence.
Nose: Roasted chestnuts hit the nose along with Christmasy scents of cloves, cinnamon and toasted oak.
Palate: Sour cherry tarts mixed with dark chocolate. The back palate reveals a caramel richness with a vanilla sweetness akin to graham crackers.
Finish: Medium-long finish with the sour tartness carrying through.
