Distillery: Caol Ila, distilled 2010/2011 and aged for 9 years in a combination of ex-bourbon hogsheads and sherry butts. Turnout – 1060 bottles.
Nose: Barbecued meat, paprika, cracked black pepper, lime and a hint of hot chocolate
Palate: Chili spice, coastal saltiness, gentle smoke.
Finish: Salty smoke and chili pepper warmth lingers.
